     I'd like to take a moment to thank you for reading this simple blog and your comments on my posts.  As of the end of this month, there's been over 14,000 views of this blog, from nations around the world since I started it the first of September. 

    I had no idea I'd get readers from so many countries as I have, had no idea the Hill style of shooting and archery tackle was of such interest to archers.  But here we are and I hope to add more blog posts that will help people to understand the nuances of the method.  As John Schulz said..."it is simple, yet exacting".  When we understand how it works, how to do it, and we practice with understanding, committing fully to it, this method of shooting a longbow will reap great benefits in the arena that the longbow was originally intended, the procurement of game.  Any other shooting, at targets or otherwise, can also be successful if the right approach is taken.  It is a style of shooting that can bring simple joy to one's life, the joy of watching a well-shot arrow fly to the mark as the result of a relaxed, fluid, and dynamic shot.  Until next blog...
